Here you can select which databases and sources to search within. The options are:

• "Recommended" - searches a range of top medical websites including PubMed, BMA, Elsevier, The Cochrane Collaboration, various NHS sites plus many more..
• "univadis® only" searches the content of the univadis® website
• Images - if you want only images returned for your search query
• Medical education – for educational sources (including univadis®)
• "Pubmed only" search trawls Pubmed only
• "TRIP only" searches the TRIP database only
• "LeRoith only" searches the LeRoith Diabetes Mellitus database only

Furthermore this section allows you to enter your search keywords - for example "myocardial infarction". You can define words and phrases to include and exclude from your results;

• Refine with "All of these words": will return results containing all of the keywords you enter but not necessarily in the same order.
• Refine by "Exact phrase": results will contain the exact keywords that you enter, in the order that you enter them.
• Refine by "At least one word": will return results containing any or all of your keywords somewhere on the page.
• Refine by "Without the words": results will exclude the keywords you enter.
