As the image below displays (Figure 12), you will see a tick box next to each result returned in your search. This function allows you to select a specific search result and then specify an action for it. You can also use the "Select All" or "Select None" links to quickly select all search results on the page or clear your selections. (Figure 13)

Above the list of results is the 'Preferred view' feature (visit Search Results for more on this function). Below this is a dropdown list, 'Actions for selected results' (Figure 14)

Here you can choose an what to do with for the result(s) you have selected.
'Add to Selection' saves the selected results to the "Selected Results" box (located on the top right hand side of the page), for further action later on. Please note that if you leave the Search Results page at this point, the Selected Results will not be permanently saved.
Once added to Your Selected Results portlet (Figure 15), you can choose a number of options – including saving the results to a specific folder of your choosing – by clicking on the 'Save to My Archive' option.

Alternatively, to choose from a selection of saving options for the search parameters, search settings and your list of search results, click on the 'Save this Search' link (Figure 16). To view more on this feature, please see the help section on ' Save This Search '.
