The Search tool has a range of capabilities to help you carry out a basic or advanced level search in order to obtain the information you need, right now.

Although easy and quick to use, the most basic level search facility still includes the guidance of a Search term dropdown assistant, which works in much the same way as the predictive text on your mobile phone (Figure 1). This feature can be turned off in your Search Settings. Sources can also be refined to include the database(s) of your choice.

Meanwhile an advanced level search (Figure 2) enables you to refine your search results to a fine level of detail, through the use of the following parameter filters;

• Keyword Options
• Content Categories
• File Formats
• Publication Date
• Author(s)

Finally, the "Save this Search" facility ensures that your results can be retrieved (and include new results) at a future date, all at the click of a button.
