The univadis portal uses icons only for basic functionality and most of the icons rely on a standard symbol.The following Icons will be used throughout the univadis site:

• Help. A small window will open containing quick help on a topic. For more information, you can access the main help centre.
• Photo. When an article or link has an associated image which is too big to be shown on the page you are viewing, this icon will appear. Click it to view the image.
• Zoom. Click this icon to enlarge an image
• Send to. Any article that can be sent to a colleague via email will have this icon displayed. Click it and follow the instructions on the screen. Your colleague does not need to be a member of univadis to receive this kind of email.
• Print. If you would like to view a "printer friendly" version of the current page, click this icon.
• Save. By clicking on this icon, the content that you are currently viewing will be saved to your Archive
• Minimise. This functions the same way that the minimise icon works on any open window on a computer. It will collapse the container so that only the title is visible.
• Maximise. This functions the same way that the maximise icon works on any open window on a computer. It will expand the container so that the title AND content are visible.
• Modify. This shows you all options for the location of content on your Home page. You can choose to move the content up or down, minimize/maximize it or delete it from the Home page. (You may add it again at any time simply by using the "Add Content" function at the bottom of your home page)
• Edit. This option will become available where you are able to modify settings that you have previously configured. For example, you may wish to edit your links
• Open a Folder. Opens a folder to display the contents of that folder.
• Close a Folder. Closes a folder so that the contents are no longer displayed.
• Rewind. Scan backwards through animated content
• Fast Forward. Scan forward through animated content
• Start Again. Scans an animation back to the beginning.
• Back. This icon will take you to a previous page/animation.
• Play. Begin an animation.
• Delete. Deletes the associated content/ alert/ etc.
