Edit your Links
 

univadis "My Links" allows you to add all of your personal bookmarks (shortcuts to your favourite web pages) so that univadis really is your one-stop gateway onto the internet. The "My Links" section can also be made available as part of your browser (Firefox users only).

Export Links

Click on the link export my links now to export your links.

You will see all your univadis links appearing on a Web page.

Click the File menu and choose the Save As option.

make sure that the Save as Type field says "Web Page, HTML (only *.html)".

Hit the Save button to finish.

Import Links

Make sure you have exported univadis My Links prior to import it into your browser.

For more information on exporting links, please see Export Links above.

Click on the File menu of your browser and select Import and Export option.

An Import/Export Wizard will start.

Click on Next | Import Favourites and then Next.

In the Import/Export Wizard, choose the file you want to import and click Next

A file folder view will appear.

Choose the folder where to import and click Next.

Click Finish to save.

Synchronise Links

To set up synchronizing univadis "My Links" with your browser menu, please follow the following steps. These instructions currently only apply to the Firefox 1.0 browser.

Click on the "Bookmarks - Manage Bookmarks" titles on the Firefox menu bar.

On the "Bookmarks Manager" interface, clicking on file-"New Live Bookmark", opens up a new screen.

Enter the following details in the pop-up.

A "univadis" folder appears on the firefox main bookmarks menu, from where all of your univadis My Links can be accessed.

Edit Links/Folders

You can change the name of a file/folder or the name of a link in the "My Links" section.

Click on "Modify My Links"

From here you can create new folders, create new links, change the names of the links or folders and delete those folders/links you no longer need. Please note that by deleting a folder, you will delete the contents of that folder.
Close
